Last updated: 03-Sept-2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the website https://inkjetworld.ie (the “Site”) or ordering products or services from Inkjet World (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you (“you”, “the customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

These Terms apply to consumers ordering for personal use and to businesses ordering for trade purposes. Where a provision applies only to consumers (as defined under the Consumer Rights Act 2022), this is stated expressly.

Our Products and Services

We provide printing, design, and related products and services, including but not limited to business cards, banners, signage, garment printing, personalised gifts, and canvas prints, with delivery within Ireland and (where offered at checkout) other jurisdictions.
Product images are for illustration; actual colours and finishes may vary slightly due to printing processes, screen display settings, and material stock. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or update our products, services, prices, and descriptions on the Site at any time, without affecting orders already accepted.

Orders and Formation of Contract

  • Placing an order through the Site is an offer by you to purchase products or services, which we may accept or decline at our discretion.
  • An order acknowledgement email confirms receipt only; a binding contract is formed when we send you confirmation that your order has been accepted, or when we dispatch the goods or begin providing the service, whichever is earlier.
  • We may refuse or cancel any order, including where there is a pricing or listing error, suspected fraud, artwork we are not permitted to reproduce, or where we cannot fulfil the order. Where we cancel an order you have paid for, you will receive a full refund.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of details provided at checkout, including delivery address, contact details, product specifications, and uploaded artwork.

Customer-Supplied Artwork and Design Files

  • Where you upload artwork, images, logos, text, or design files for printing, you confirm that you own the rights to that content, or have the necessary permissions and licences to use and reproduce it, and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.
  • You are responsible for checking uploaded files for accuracy — including spelling, colours, layout, bleed, and resolution — before submitting your order. We are not liable for errors present in customer-supplied files that were reproduced as submitted.
  • We reserve the right to refuse to print any content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or that infringes a third party’s intellectual property or other rights.
  • Where we provide design services, you will be given a proof to review and approve before final printing. Once you approve a proof, we are not responsible for errors that were present in, and not flagged from, that approved proof.

Pricing and Payment

  • All prices on the Site are shown in Euro (€) and, for consumer orders, are inclusive of Irish VAT at the applicable rate, unless stated otherwise.
  • Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order.
  • Payment is required in full at the time of ordering, using the payment methods offered at checkout (e.g. [insert actual provider(s), such as Stripe, PayPal or SumUp]). Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store your full card details on our servers.
  • If a pricing error is identified on the Site, we will contact you before processing your order and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel.

Delivery

  • We aim to dispatch and deliver orders within the timeframes stated on the Site or in your order confirmation. These are estimates only; delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
  • Delivery is provided via third-party courier services (e.g. [insert actual courier partner(s), such as An Post, DPD or Fastway]). Delivery times may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control (see Section 13, Force Majeure).
  • For consumer orders, risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, and legal ownership passes once payment has been received in full.
  • Please inspect your order promptly on receipt and notify us of any damage, shortage, or defect as soon as reasonably possible, and in any event within 30 days of delivery, so that we can assist you under Section 8 below.
  • We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by incomplete or incorrect delivery information provided by you, or by your failure to take delivery at the agreed time.

Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)

If you are a consumer ordering standard, non-personalised stock items, you have a statutory right to cancel your order under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No. 484 of 2013).

  •   You may cancel within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, by notifying us clearly (email is sufficient) of your decision to cancel.
  • You must return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation, in their original condition where reasonably possible. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise or the goods are faulty.
  • We will refund you, including standard delivery charges you paid, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or evidence that you have sent them back), using the same payment method you used to pay, unless you agree otherwise.

Important exclusion for personalised or made-to-order items: Because most of our products are custom-printed, personalised, or made to your specification (for example custom prints, engraved or embroidered items, and bespoke design work), the right to cancel described above does not apply once production has begun, in line with Regulation 13(g) of S.I. No. 484 of 2013. We will make this clear to you before you complete your order for such items.

Faulty, Damaged, or Mis-Described Goods

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Where goods you receive are faulty, damaged in transit, or do not match their description, you are entitled to the remedies set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2022, including:

  • A short-term right to reject the goods and obtain a full refund, normally available for 30 days from delivery;
  • The right to require a repair or replacement free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience; and
  • Where repair or replacement is not possible or has failed, a right to a price reduction or to reject the goods and obtain a refund.

To make a claim, please contact us at info@inkjetworld.ie with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where relevant. We will respond and, where appropriate, arrange a repair, replacement, refund, or price reduction in line with your statutory rights.

Returns Process

To request a return, refund, or to report a problem with your order, contact us at info@inkjetworld.ie with your order number. We will confirm the next steps, including (where applicable) how to return the item and whether a return label or collection will be arranged.

Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site — including text, graphics, layouts, logos, and design templates created by us — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or reuse this content without our prior written consent.
  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of bespoke design work created for you passes to you on payment in full for that work, save that we retain the right to use the completed work in our own portfolio, website, and marketing materials, unless you notify us otherwise before your order is finalised.
  • You retain ownership of, and responsibility for, any artwork or content you upload to the Site, subject to the licence you grant us under Section 4 to reproduce it for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

Limitation of Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law.
  • Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our products or services, including loss of profits, business, or data.
  • Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.
  • Where you are a consumer, this Section does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 or other applicable consumer protection law.

Acceptable Use of the Website

  • You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes, and not to engage in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site, or interfere with other users’ access to it.
  • You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, or introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful material.
  • We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses, and we accept no liability for resulting loss or damage, except as set out in Section 11.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, courier or supply chain disruption, extreme weather, power or systems failure, or acts of government.

Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@inkjetworld.ie so we can try to resolve it directly. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and resolve them fairly.
If you remain unsatisfied, and you are a consumer, you may raise your complaint with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) at www.ccpc.ie, or seek independent advice from the European Consumer Centre Ireland at www.eccireland.ie. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued by the EU on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence, and mandatory consumer protections of that country may apply.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, products, or legal requirements. The current version will always be available on this page, showing the date it was last updated. Changes will not affect orders placed before the update. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
